Match Experts with Organizations based on qualifications and project needs
Facilitate engagement arrangements and communications between users

Improve platform features through analytics and user research

3. Sharing of your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
With other platform users — Expert profile information (name, specialty, credentials) is visible to Organizations seeking to engage experts. Organization project details are visible to matched Experts.
With service providers — Third-party vendors who help us operate the platform (e.g., hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics) under confidentiality agreements
For legal compliance — When required by law, court order, or regulatory authority, including disclosures required under the Sunshine Act or similar healthcare transparency laws
Business transfers — In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction
With your consent — For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection
4. Healthcare professional data
Because Expertuity facilitates engagements between healthcare professionals and industry Organizations, certain data about Experts (including name, specialty, and compensation received) may be subject to disclosure requirements under applicable healthcare transparency laws, such as the U.S. Physician Payments Sunshine Act. By using the platform as an Expert, you acknowledge that such disclosures may be required and consent to Organizations reporting your engagement data to applicable government authorities as legally required.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to authenticate sessions, remember your preferences, and analyze platform usage. You can configure your browser to reject cookies, though some features may not function as intended. We do not use tracking technologies to serve targeted advertising.
6. Data retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Professional credential records and engagement history may be retained for extended periods to satisfy regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to the healthcare industry.
7. Data security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted transmission (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.

The Expertuity platform is intended solely for adults and licensed healthcare professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

The platform may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
